Brexit Update – 31st January 2020

The United Kingdom is due to leave the European Union on 31st January 2020. From the 1st February 2020 the UK will then enter into a transition period. This is expected to last until 31st December 2020 but is subject to a possible extension.

This transition period is designed to give everyone in the UK and the EU time to prepare for changes caused by the UK leaving the EU. During this period the way the UK trades with Europe will remain broadly the same so there should not be any immediate changes to how we sell to countries outside the UK.

The impact of the future cross-border sales will depend on the nature of the UK’s future trading relationships. When when details regarding what happens after the transition become more clear and its affect on our customers we will post an update here on the webstore.
